Shotcrete

Shotcrete services — retaining walls, pool shells, and slope stabilization.

Service Overview

Shotcrete is concrete sprayed under high pressure. It's the right tool when you need concrete on a vertical surface, over a rebar grid, or in an irregular shape — retaining walls, pool shells, slope stabilization, and tank linings. We run both wet-mix and dry-mix rigs.

Benefits

  • Bonds tight to rebar and existing surfaces
  • Works on vertical and overhead applications
  • Faster than forming and pouring conventional walls
  • High compressive strength when placed by an experienced nozzleman
  • Less formwork required

Residential Applications

  • Basement wall repair and reinforcement
  • Storm shelter walls

Frequently Asked Questions

Gunite is the brand-name dry-mix process — water added at the nozzle. Shotcrete is the broader term and includes wet-mix, where ready-mixed concrete is pumped through the hose. Both work; we pick based on the job.
