Cullman County is one of the fastest-growing parts of our service area and our work here reflects that. The I-65 corridor through Cullman has pulled in a wave of commercial development — hotels, retail outparcels, medical buildings, industrial expansion — and that growth has spilled into the residential market with new subdivisions on both sides of the interstate and steady custom-home construction out toward Smith Lake. We pour for builders, homeowners and commercial GCs on a regular basis throughout the county.

In town, Cullman is mostly residential and small commercial. Stamped patios are a constant request in the newer neighborhoods on the east side of town, and we pour a lot of driveway replacements in the older central neighborhoods. Hanceville's growth around the Wallace State campus and the basilica has kept us busy with patios, sidewalks and small commercial flatwork. Smith Lake is the other half of the Cullman County story. Commercial concrete in Cullman has changed character over the last decade. What used to be small-town commercial — a downtown building here, a strip center there — is now a real commercial market with outparcels along Highway 157 and the AL-69 / I-65 interchange driving most of the activity.
